Safety #Recall on Graco Nautilus and My Ride 65 Car Seats in #Canada

There has been a Safety Recall on Graco Nautilus and My Ride 65 car seats in Canada, made between January 2009 and July 2013.

On certain Graco Nautilus and MyRide 65 model child car seats manufactured between January 2009 and July 2013, the buckle may become contaminated with foreign material, such as food or dried liquids. Over time, the buckle may become progressively more difficult to unlatch or become stuck in the latched position.

If this problem occurs, it may be difficult or impossible to unlatch the buckle, which could delay the removal of a child from the seat and increase the risk of injury in an emergency situation in which a prompt exit from the vehicle is required. There is no risk if the buckle is not contaminated and is functioning normally.

Here's a picture of the recalled buckles:

Check the Transport Canada website for more information regarding model numbers, and what to do if you have one of these seats.  Keep those little ones safe!
